ADVERTISEMENT FOR CALLING LETTER OF INTEREST FROM AUDITING FIRMS

            Madhya Pradesh Rural Road Development Authority a registered society under Panchayat & Rural Development Department, Govt. of M.P is implementing Pradhan Mnatri Gram Sadak Yojana in Madhya Pradesh. At present the project being implemented through about 100 Project Implementation Units which cover all districts of MP. The authority intends to appoint Chartered Accountants for Statutory Audit of the Financial Statements of project. 

            Letters of interest are invited from qualified and experienced auditing firms who wish to be considered for this assignment. The Firm should have :- 

1-     Experience of atleast 10 years.

2-     Atleast 5 FCA with the firm as exclusive partners.

3-     All FCA’s should have atleast 10 years experience.

4-     Conducted atleast one audit of similar nature.

5-     Registration with C&AG of India and Reserve Bank of India.

6-     Turn over of atleast Rs.10 lac in any one of the last three years. 

The TOR will be sent to the parties/firms who will be short listed on the basis of this expression of interest. The objectives of the Statutory Audit is to enable the auditor to express a professional opinion on the financial position of MPRRDA fund received and expenditure  incurred during the accounting period (financial year 2009-10).

            Firms which are interested for being considered for the assignment should submit expression of interest demonstrating their experience and capability to undertake the assignment with supporting documents. Information on adequacy and availability of resources to carry out the respective assignment should also be provided. Letter of interest, with accompanying material, including a current statement of the financial position of the firm, should be submitted by 26-2-2010 to the Chief General Manager(Finance) on the address given below.

            Please note that this is not a request for proposals. After a review of the letter of interest, short list will be prepared and short listed firms will be invited to submit proposals through letter of invitation, including specific Terms of Reference .

            Last date for receiving the letters of interest is 26-02-2010(up to 5.00 PM).
